Ardal O'Brien

Ardal is one of our exciting Year 11 pupils. He is in Mr Whitaker's Tutor group. His birthday is on 19th June, though he has no interest or belief in star signs at all. His favourite food is Kangaroo! He says that it tastes like any other meat. His favourite holiday destination is Australia, where he visited a reef (not the Great Barrier) and saw and swam with Whales and Whale Sharks. He was not scared because Ardal reliably informs us that they are Filter Feeders and humans are not on the menu! At weekends Ardal likes seeing friends and watching TV. He is one of our intrepid DoE Dickerites - his favourite thing about DoE is socializing. He also hopes it will stand him in good stead for University applications. Ardal thinks his best trait (though he is modest) is getting people to do what he wants, which he achieves with a cheeky wink, and a smile and the odd show of ankle.
